Chinese pole
Originating from China as the name suggests, Chinese poles are vertical poles on which performers climb, slide down and hold poses. It developes upper body strength immensely and is great cross training for other aerial activities.
The Pole at Powerarts is four meters in height and covered in rubber, giving it a fair amount of grip.
It is taught by a former Chinese circus performer, Wangyang Zhang in both English and Japanese.
The class is available for both men and woman.
Class details are as follows:

*Time – every Wednesday from 2130

*Cost - ¥4000 for 1 class

*clothes – It is best done in a long sleeve shirt and long pants (jeans are fine) to avoid burns. Inside shoes should also be worn.
