Tricking (Xtreme Martial Arts) is the name of a relatively new alternative sport movement, combining martial arts, gymnastics and other activities to create an "aesthetic blend of flips, kicks, and twists. Tricking incorporates a variety of moves from different arts such as flips from gymnastics, kicks from Taekwando, twists from Wu shu and other acrobatic moves from Capoeira. Tricking is recognizable by its flashy kicks, complex flips and twists, and its highly stylized movements which separate it from other arts.

Powerarts is the only place in all of Japan to have formal training in XMA/Tricking. At beginner levels students are given an overview of skills from the areas mentioned above. Once the student has mastered certain skills they are taught how to link their skills in flashy combination. Higher levels obviously strive for higher difficulty in skill level and to create new combinations of moves.
