Acrobatics is the performance of extraordinary feats of balance, agility and motor coordination. It is found in many performing arts such as circus and ballet as well as sports such as gymnastics and diving.

A combination of creative and innovative teachers with a large and resourceful center makes Powerarts the only studio in Japan fully equipped to teach acrobatics at a high level.

The course is designed to give students an overview of all areas of acrobatics while maintaining focus on fundamentals such as flexibility, core strength and motor coordination. Areas of focus for beginners include hand stands and balance, basic tumbling moves, basic strength moves, equipment usage and an introduction to forward and back tumbling skills. At higher levels students learn to join their moves in combination and learn skills of higher difficulty such as twisting and stylistic shapes.

The teachers work with each student at their own pace while constantly giving encouragement to improve. No other place in Japan can provide the quality of acrobatic excellence that Powerarts can.

Tumbling is the acrobatic discipline of combining acrobatic moves such as roundoffs, back-handsprings, back-saults, front-saults and twisting moves into an acrobatic sequence.
The tumbling class at Powerarts is for more higher level students with experience in at least a roundoff and back handspring or sault.
